The moisture content is 28-32% moisture, the optimum level for flavour and appearance. Good quality vanilla should be shiny, slightly moist and pliable. The perfect vanilla flavour is down to two things, how long the vanilla beans are left on the vine, and vanilla curing. Our farmers in Southern India have many years of experience in growing vanilla, and all our vanilla pods are cured to a superbly high standard. Pinner Vanilla - Real Vanilla Paste with seeds. 160gms. Our vanilla bean paste contains 8.5% vanilla pods and 2.5% seeds, that's stronger than normal vanilla extract. Made with Bourbon vanilla from the Vanilla planifolia plant. Grown and cured in one area of Southern India. It has a full traditional cured Bourbon type vanilla aroma. No gum thickening agents have been used during production, just real vanilla pods on a glucose base. Our vanilla paste contains the same or more concentration of vanilla extractives as typical vanilla extract. It is essentially a non-alcoholic vanilla extract, and can be used instead of vanilla essence. Flows gently like a thick syrup. 1 teaspoon = 1 vanilla pod (approx.). Perfect for custards, creme brules, ice cream, baking etc. Our vanilla paste has a lovely rich, well rounded vanilla flavour. The seeds are an added attraction.. Suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets.
